How can a 3D printer be a significant tool for printing models?
In this open exercise, we explored the 3D printing tool from the architect's point of view.
we thought about the limits of the machine, the challenges on the way .

THE MUSHROOM

At this exercise our group chose a real eatable mushroom.

at first, we scan the mushroom through point cloud application and after that we send to cura application the code to start printing,

The process of the 3 D printing was really exiting and fun.

THE CHAIR

In the second phase of our project, we explored 3D printing as a tool for design. We designed joints for a disassembled chair using two different materials, encountering challenges such as finding the right materials and determining optimal printing parameters. The final product fulfilled our goal of creating functional joints while incorporating artistic expression. This project allowed us to expand our understanding of 3D printing's potential to revolutionize design.
